No release date yet, but it seems like it will be coming out soon.

Highlights will be the contrast between two stories: how climate change has been getting worse and what the most recent science is, contrasted with hopeful technological developments, as well as what countries have been doing and how much more still needs to be done.

He seems to have an inconvenient need for money/attention.

The failure of the left to phrase *global warming* or environmental liberalism (really, conservation) in a populist way is one of their most hilarious failures.  I'm pretty liberal on the environment, and rarely a populist in any sense of the word, but how do you lose that PR battle?!  Conservatives' environmental policy is literally crafted for the industries that donate to them, and liberals' response is to sound like the whiniest bunch of bltches in the world.  Instead of phrasing it as a bunch of business tycoons destroying the natural beauty that good, hardworking Americans hunt, fish and hike in, they gladly settle for, "if you don't believe what this decorated scientist thinks on this issue, YOU ARE AN IDIOT!"  Complete political failure to let the right make climate change into a granola-y cause.
