McCarthy was at least hard on his liver enough that he wouldn't have stayed in office much longer than his reign of terror anyway.

Cruz seems like the kind of guy that doesn't eat anything other than Soylent and fresh greens so he can be in the Senate until he's 100.

Strategic vote for McCarthy and cirrhosis.

The thing is Cruz accusations are more false then McCarthy . That whole
McCarthy thing happened cause of Alger hiss revealed to he a commie plus there was a red scare among peOple then so as bad as it was it was better then Cruz demogogury  . Today Cruz only takes positions supported by a fringe minority and calls the rest statists and demogagues about it . Lastly Cruz behavior in senate may have contributed to rise of trump which is worse then what McCarthy led to


Essentially when you compare two similarly  bad demogaues the person demogaguing views supported by the fringe is worse

Not only do they look alike, but their ideology is very similar.  Cruz has peddled the same paranoia, hate, and division that McCarthy did--essentially his modern-day equivalent.  (Although, to be fair, there was some credibility to McCarthy's accusations against some of his targets.)

The fact that Communists were actively subverting our government and yet McCarthy still lied and targeted innocents makes him all the worse.
