Just speculation now, but what do you think how many bills The Donald will veto during the 115th congress in the next few years? I think it will be more than ten (comparison: Obama vetoed two during gis first two years, but then no single veto until 2015). Any guesses?

Given that there will likely be unified GOP government for Trump's entire first term, I think fewer than Obama's second term.

If he doesn't like a bill, he is probably stupid enough to think that if he doesn't sign it it won't become a law.

Impossible to say. It depends entirely on who's pulling his strings at any given time and how long he stays in office. Plus whatever the voices in his head tell him to do.

None, since at no point in his 8 years will he see a hostile Congress.

LOL, yes. This could obviously be the case. I bet that most posters on this forum know more about the presidency, its powers and duties, than the current occupant of this office. Nevertheless, I would be the case if congress adjourns (pocket veto). But you are right, usually it becomes law within two weeks without signing and vetoing.

Answer to the original question: I know yet. It could be zero; it could be ten or more. Maybe he starts vetoing bills of single senators/congress(wo)men, whom he wants to punish for something.

For the first two years (115th): likely zero, if any.
For the 2nd two years (116th), if he makes it that far: more vetoes, especially if Dems take the House and/or Senate.
