Tech ceos voting Bernie over Rubio is laughable, Rubio is way way more pro business then Bernie and at the end of the day their is no way they vote for a socialist over an establishment republican . Lastly Rubio is more pro H1B then Bernie

Another ridiculous post. Marco Rubio's party is against immigration reform & more likely to oppose H1B than Sanders or Dems. Rubio himself has spoken out against H1B issues in the GOP debate something which Bernie never did. There are broader issues as well, it is never only Rubio vs Bernie.

Bill Gates has pledged to give away most of his wealth to eradicating poverty & for renewable power. How can he vote for a climate change denying party? Tim Cook is gay & why would he vote for a Republican president who may install a SC judge who could over-turn gay marriage. Pichai & Nadella are overwhelming anti-Evangelical, anti-Racism, anti-immigrant hatred, anti- social conservative faction of the Republican party. Warren Buffet himself advocated for the Buffet rule, 30% odd minimum tax from high earning individuals & is uber liberal in social issues.

People totally fail to realize how big these issues are - Bill Maher, Colbert etc earns huge money as do many of these CNN or NBC anchors - Why do they not vote Republican? They have gay friends, they are staunchly anti-war, believe in global warming, etc. These CEO's are overwhelmingly liberal, anti-guns, pro-abortion, pro-marijuana etc. Everyone of these CEO's will gladly pay 5-10% more in taxes if it means abortion, gay marriage, climate change etc are not touched by a mad GOP.

Taxes are least important when you feel the survival of the society is at stake !

Marco Rubio supported H1B increase while Bernie opposed them . That's a fact , and most of the establishment GOP supported them to before trump, and with Rubio has president immigration reform happens . The fact is most of those buisness owners support establishment politicians no matter who's in power.

Bernie spoke out against it :
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/wonk/wp/2013/05/25/this-is-a-massive-effort-to-attract-cheap-labor-why-sen-bernie-sanders-is-skeptical-of-guest-workers/

Taxes under Bernie would nearly  double for most CEO, and he would regulate the heck out of Buisness. LOL at mad GOP establishment republicans have always been great for these type of
People and Rubio is not racist anti immigrant either . Obama was actually tightened up h1b visas as well: https://medium.com/@Ezvsa/evolution-of-h-1b-visa-under-different-presidents-e300eb38084c

Rubio for one has talked in length about H1B, the abuses & criticized many areas of the program. Cherry picking 1 positive comment & 1 moderate lukewarm comment doesn't paint the proper picture. Bernie has raised skepticism to huge increases in the number of H1B & H2B, but he specifically says that he fully understands that foreign skilled workers are required in areas where there is a shortage & raises doubts about the quantum of increase (if that amount is even required). And large increase in H1B or not is a deal breaker.

This is about survival. Tim Cook knows that homophobia will rise & he will never be able to marry a man if you have a GOP POTUS for long time who will be filling the SC. Pichai & Nadella are Indian-Americans which is the worst group for Trump, he did almost as bad as the black community, they are staunchly against wars, very anti-guns, pro marijuana, super pro abortion, opposed to evangelicals & social conservatism. The Bannon's would always be a part of the GOP & not Democrats. Bill Gates gave most of his money to fight poverty & climate change. Climate Change threatens the survival of the planet - Why would Bill Gates spit on his life's entire work & vote for Rubio?

The top marginal federal tax rate under Bernie was supposed to be 52%, it is 39.6% under Obama - How will the effective tax rate change for a CEO? For someone paying say 30% of his total earnings, he may pay now say 38% under Bernie(progressive taxes & slabs). The whole option of paying 10% more or not is not a consideration when the survival of the society & is at stake.

Hillary Clinton btw proposed a 65% estate tax, Buffet rule of minimum 30%, a flat 4% surcharge on very high income people, reduction of deductions for high income individuals. The after tax income of high income households fell from 7 to 10% in HRC's tax plans & they will supported her. Bill Clinton increased the top federal income marginal tax rate from 31% to 39.6%, a whopping 9% odd increase & they still voted for him.

Unless you have a strong social, civil rights liberal candidate, this isn't even a debate

The fact that you think Marco Rubio would threaten the society at large is laughable and proves your nothing but a Partisan hack . Oh by the way Trump and Rubio were totally totally different on the issue on immigration. Trump is anti immigrant Rubio isn't . I bet Rubio does better then bush 04 among Indian Americans  versus Bernie and almost as good among Hispanics  .

Basically the establishment is pro immigrant and populists are anti immigrant and guess what Rubio is much more closer to the establishment categories then Bernie sanders . Bannon would likely support some fringe third party if Rubio was the  nominee.

just cause you cherry pick a few tech ceos and use it to to indicate the majority of the  tech ceos  would support Bernie is laughable  , what about Mark Cuban who supported Hillary only cause her opponent was trump , if it was Bernie he supports Johnson and if Rubio is nominee he supports Rubio. I'm talking about most of them in general just not a few of them or I too can cherry pick ceos as well .

The fact that you brought up bill clinton here is funny cause his economic policies in general were center right . He cut the capital gains tax and didn't increase the corporate tax rate as well while supporting Major Deregulation of the economy (which is why they supported him )

Oh and lastly look at this : https://www.americanexpress.com/us/small-business/openforum/articles/poll-majority-of-small-tech-firm-ceos-favor-romney/

Big Business in America (and indeed in Western Europe) is largely supportive of the left. To be sure its the liberal left rather than the socialist left (which they also oppose) but on all kinds of issues, feminism, race relations, immigration etc big business has been at the forefront of promoting leftist ideology and politics.
