He had like a 70% approval rating at one point, right? And now he's in the teens. That's a near 50% range from lowest to highest, can't think of anyone would come close. Who would be in second?

Not a Governor, but Dubya between the immediate post-9/11 and his final days probably saw a similar swing.

Dubya fall was even bigger he went from having an approval rating of 90% to 25% when he left .

Schwarzenegger also became very unpopular in 2010. As far as I know, his predecessor Gray Davis also started with high approval ratings after taking office in 1999, which dropped to an all-time low by 2003, just before the recall. Though his approvals remained high until late 2001.

Bush 41. 89% approval during the Gulf War (late February 1991), 29% in August and October 1992.
