If 2018 is a good year for Dems, he could definitely get pulled over the top, but it's probably better for Democrats to look for someone new.

Remember - since he got washed out before as well, Gallego could lose the seat again fairly soon if he won in 2018.

Also remember, there is a redistricting case pending, and Gallego may end up running in a friendlier district.

This is important to remember, but whatever happens, I would prefer a candidate with a stronger record.
