Texas should not split under any circumstance. In fact, the original borders should be enforced.



Oklahoma will not under any circumstances be shrunk EVER.

And, why would you get take of the Oklahoma Panhandle?  Rather, Oklahoma needs to annex the Texas Panhandle north of Lubbock.  Texas is way too big.
His map is of the territory once claimed by the Republic of Texas (and I think recognized by the US of A - hence why Grier(sp?) County isn't shown as part of Texas as well.)

Alaska is too big as well, but no one seems to care because they only get 3 electoral votes while Texas gets 34 GOP electoral votes. I don't support the old Republic of Texas borders. I only feel that it is my contribution to the silly notion of breaking up the state.

In the end, it doesn't matter. Texans will never vote to break up the state.
