If there's a close Clinton-Obama contest going into Feb. 5th, GA might actually turn out to be pretty important.  The five biggest delegate prizes on Feb. 5th are CA, NY, IL, NJ, and GA, and Clinton and Obama have home state advantages in NYand IL respectively, so those two probably won't be fought over.  So GA should be one of the main battlegrounds.

Here's a scary thought for those of you who are Democrats supporting someone other than Clinton: Of the roughly 1550 delegates that will be decided on Feb. 5th, about 700 of them belong to either CA, NY, or NJ.  Of course, there's a proportional system for awarding delegates, so it's not as simple as awarding *all* of the delegates to the winner of each state.  But still, it's hard to see how Obama can "win" Super Tuesday without winning California.
