A little stunt that myself and about 1200 of my friends pulled off at Ocean Beach in Golden Gate Park this morning.  I was number 226 to sign up.  I think about 1000 showed.

I admire the amount of planning, effort and logistics that went into it, but the end result was rather pointless, don't you think?

Whereabouts in it were you?  And most important of all; did the weather make it all worthwhile? Smiley

Right, like I am really going to converse with someone who does not care whether his fellow man lives or dies.

Read my response to that in the relevant thread. (link)

You can choose to ignore my questions here, but it's kinda rude to do so.  Especially since they weren't particularly grilling.

Joe, I wouldn't even bother. You are talking to a guy that makes BRTD look like Rush Limbaugh. He is hardly worth wasting RAM conversing with.

Dude, next time you do something like this, please consider sending me a PM! I would have loved to attend that. Looks like fun. Smiley

I live in Berkeley during the semester, though right now I am in the South Bay.

With the exception of ABC local news and AP Yahoo (which reports on anything and everything of even the slightest interest to anybody), none of those links are to any major news sources.

Front story at DailyKos:

The people who brought you this:

... are looking to do it again.

The organizers of the San Francisco "Impeach at the Beach" event are looking to recreate their feat on the Mall tomorrow, with the Capitol in the background.

If you're in DC and want to take a load off and maybe make the news while you're at it, then:
