Francois Sauvadet, NC group leader in the National Assembly has emerged as the president of Cote-d'Or replacing the old UMP incumbent. The UMP has also gained (!) Pyrenees-Atlantiques, the department of Bayrou. (edit- they gained it because the UMP candidate was older than the PS candidate. The vote was tied 26-26) Tongue

Same thing in Jura etc.

Map of cantonales results

The Socialists continue being exceptionally nice with their Radical allies, taking one department from them Smiley

Funny to see the MoDem lost Pyrenees-Atlantique too.

Departments in red indicate a Senatorial election this year.

There is a mistake on your map : the socialists have also taken Val d'Oise.

Oh yes, thank you. Slight oversight on my part. I always forget those tiny departments.

OK, this is quite hilarious.

The UMP president of La Reunion was re-elected... with the support of the PS, MoDem, and Communists... against the UMP candidate Smiley

I'm bored so I decided to make a simple left/right/centre map of the mayors of all cities with 3,500+ inhabitants. I won't bother making a map by party because the list names don't give any information on that.

Normal key for all my maps applies here oc.

Bretagne

Bas-Rhin

Haut-Rhin, Vosges, etc.
