I like all three. But, to stick with my republican policies and beliefs, I narrowly vote Eisenhower. But, as I said before all three are deserving of being in the pantheon of the greatest presidents of all time.

What do you think? Who is your favorite?

32nd President of the United States: Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Sure Roosevelt pissed me off by staying in power for too long, "I must seek a third and fourth term due to War!" but I easily prefer him over John F. Kennedy or Dwight Eisenhower anyday.

Not only the most conservative of the group, but these were really awful choices.

There are few things in politics that literally make me sick, one of those things would be placing FDR or LBJ on a list of Top 15 presidents

So, the fact that FDR got us out of the Depression, introduced some of the most important domestic legislation in history, and then guided us through winning WWII don't get him into the top 15?

Important domestic legislation?  Are you referring the New Deal which failed miserably until FDR got us into WWII to boost the economy and then claimed the New Deal was responsible?  So not only did he expand the federal government remarkably, the plan failed, so he got us into a war we had no business in to bail himself out.  If that is your hero, I'd certainly like to see your enemies

Yes, I am referring to the New Deal, especially Social Security, and the TVA; and he didn't get us into WWII, it was the blind isolationists who, by refusing to let us into the League of Nations, prevented us from settling the disputes before they led to war.

The New Deal MIGHT have been effective if it only included TVA and social security, but it was so much more.  And no, FDR was responsible for the war, attacking Japan would have been one matter, but he went after Germany which was no imminent danger to us.

Germany was at war with our ally, and if they had beaten the UK, they would have been an imminent threat to us.

There would have been an entire ocean seperating us, Hitler would not have been dumb enough to deplete his forces like that if we left him alone

Both of you can shut up.

Obviously, neither of you have any understanding of the forces shaping Europe in the interwar period.

FDR didn't declare war on Germany, they did on us after we declared war on Japan.  FDR didn't go after Germany.

..and I don't like FDR.
