They are saying now that it's not true.

I Blue heart that I am a racist because I think he's endorsing him for reason's other than he's black. Please, do any of you think he'd endorse Hillary? After all, he is endorsing Obama because he thinks McCain would've attacked Iran, so I assume he would've endorsed Hillary as well. Right?

He sure as hell wouldn't support Mccain in either case.

I just saw it on the TV that people are now saying Kristol is full of it.

They are saying now that it's not true.

Why's that? He was in the Bush administration and helped sell the war in Iraq. Why wouldn't he consider supporting McCain?

I am pretty sure he'll remain neutral, but why is it so far fetched that he could support McCain? He'll publicly support neither.

Because they disagree on foreign policy. But of course he might love Mccain on economic policy. I have no clue but considering he is a military man and a former secretary of state, foreign policy is little more prominent in his mind. But yeah him endorsing Obama would be a bit weird I admit. Him sitting this one out is more likely.

Am I alone in being a bit surprised that Powell would endorse Obama?

I've always had a lot of respect for the man and thought he was one of the best Republicans out there.

First, I like Powell.

Second, he has met with Obama, months ago, IIRC, and he liked him personally.

He also met with McCain a few months ago and I believe is a friend of his too.

Colin Powell:
“I do not have time to waste on Bill Kristol’s musings. I am not going to the convention. I have made this clear.”

Translation: [expletive] Bill Kristol.

Ok, we've cleared up (several times now) that he's not going to the Democratic Convention. This issue is over whether or not he's endorsing Obama.
