http://www.edhtelegraph.com/detail/97809.htmlThis could be the result of a Halloween prank, all the way up to something out of The Godfather. But the fact that it happened at the beginning of Charlie Brown’s Get Out The Vote weekend has raised more than a few eyebrows.
On Friday night, upon leaving the Charlie Brown for Congress campaign office in Grass Valley, which shares space with the local Democratic Party Central Committee, staffers found a severed goat's head on the front step.
If this has nothing to do with the election, although putting it at a Brown campaign office obviously makes a certain connection, it is still unacceptable. Authorities were involved in the removal and are looking into finding the perpetrator.
Historically, leaving or sending one a goat's head is considered a very serious threat. A quick search of the internet reveals organizations that have allegedly used such an act to send a message.
