Well, perhaps not entirely Libertarian! But as close as possible!
I come from a working class, very left wing background. My parents are both staunch Labour voters and always have been. I guess you could call them Yellow Dawg Democrats!
However even since I left university I have trended right on many issues, not least crime, the economy, social security etc. On social issues however I've gone leftward. Basically I have the opinion that people are best left to their own devices as much as possible. The state should neither interfear in business OR in people's private lives. I would say I am pretty Libertarian. The only area where I am authoritarian is law and order. If people are going to spoil my Libertarian Utopia by infringing the civil liberties of others, you should pay a heavy price!!
