Gore vs. Dole in 1996
«
on:
April 14, 2004, 12:58:21 pm »
Scenario:
1. Clinton is destroyed by Gennifer Flowers scandal, drops from 1992 race.
2. Tsongas wins nomination, chooses Gore as his mate, and defeats Bush.
3. Tsongas resigns in 1995 after his cancer returns
4. Gore becomes President and nominates Dick Gephardt as VP
How would Gore/Gephardt do against Dole/Kemp? This may include speculation on how well the Tsongas/Gore Administration would have performed.

Bob Dole is hep to the young people's jive. Bob Dole will bring it. Bob Dole is fresh. Bob Dole is happening. Bob Dole is down with that...
The cool thing about a Gore v. Dole election is you could replace both candidates with robots, and no one would be the wiser.
