(NickG speaks before a crowd in Philadelphia)

Ladies and Gentlemen of District 2,

I would like to direct this message to my fellow Atlasians in the Democratic Party and AFIP.

As most of you know, I am currently running in this weekend’s special election for a District 2 Senate seat.  I come into this campaign knowing that it will be a tough race.  I am the Governor of the Mideastern region, yet I have come into the Northeast region to fight for every vote I can get.  I am a member of the United Left, but I am not afraid to battle it out in the UAC stronghold that Pennsylvania has become.

In the past three months, our parties have suffered a steady string of electoral losses at the hands of an advancing juggernaut called the UAC.  In the election now upon us, the UAC’s Bullmoose has strong political machine behind him, and the left must unite if we want to have any chance to stall the behemoth. This is why I am asking every member of the Democrats and the AFIP in District 2 to turnout this weekend and fend off the UAC.  Without your help, we will wake up on Monday morning to yet another Centrist victory.

And when you vote, I ask that you consider me, NickG, as your first choice.  My Democratic opponent, Akno21, has shown himself to be an eloquent and spirited advocate for progressive values; he has a bright political future on the forum.  Yet, he has been on the forum for less than a month, and I respectfully do not believe he has the experience or the political support to stop the UAC from winning again.

Although I am a democratic socialist and a member of United Left, I have been a friend of the Democratic Party for my entire Atlas Forum career.  As Governor, I have gained the support of many Democrats and governed not by blind ideology, but according to the wishes of my constituents.   During the past presidential election, the AFIP’s Nym90 had no bigger advocate than myself.  I organized Nym’s GOTV email drive, and succeeded in turning out every single member of my party to vote Democratic.  Finally, if elected, I pledge to support the AFIP in their efforts to control to gain majority control of the Senate.

Our parties share many common passions, ideals, and policy goals.  I have the support of the UL and the ILP, and I hope I can add the Democrats AFIP to this list come elections day.  and Let’s not let this seat slip from our grasps out of apathy.  Vote this weekend, and vote NickG!

(NickG wades through a cheering mob and boards his campaign bus to Cleveland.)

Besides all a UAC victory will do is create a 3 Party powershare with UAC, AFIP, and Republican + SRP.

Worst case scenario would be a Republican victory that ends in a Republican minority senate.

I also think that if the UAC hadn't endorsed DemRepDan and he had just been AFIP PBrunsel would have won. The Republican Party is the only one left that can do win against a UAC candidate.

Where do you think the Republicans can pick up seats?

UAC | Republican | AFIP | UL

Districts 1 (surprising) and 4 (expected) are very Republican.

2 and 5 have UAC stronghold states.

3 is an AFIP stronghold.

Yes, because Republican New York will change districts.

According to my records, the only registered Republican in New York is Boss Tweed!

NY is mostly UAC.

The map currently under consideration for redistricting:

According to my list of registered voters (not all of who are active), these are the majority parties in the new districts. if these are the districts.

District 1- UL; Dem close second
District 2- UAC; Dem and Rep tied for second
District 3- Rep and Ind tied for first; Dem and IP tied for 2nd
District 4- Rep clear majority if SRP is counted as Rep
District 5- UAC; Rep 2nd

Ah I see... So nationally who has more registered? Republican, UAC, or Dem?
