To balance off another thread on this site, here are some elected Democrats who are currently putting their backing behind the President for one reason or another.  Feel free to add names as they arise:

Randy Kelly - St. Paul Mayor
Zell Miller - Georgia Senator
Ed Koch - Former NY City Mayor
John Wayne Mixson - former Florida Governor
Ken Threntham - former Missouri county Commissioner

I know there are more (don't have the time this morning to search them out).  When you find them, list their name, city/state, and position.

Tammy isn't an elected official (N.O.W. doesn't count).

Theres a few Democrats holding office in New Mexico that were at a Bush event, and were campaigning for Bush.  Don't know their names or offices.  Probably not high office holders.

Yes, I get your point. But, still its someone you'd never expect to be supporting Bush.

Does anyone know who former Senator Warren Rudman is supporting or supported in 2000? I really admire him.

I thought Weld was on the GOPs rapid response team in Boston?  He was there bashing Kerry.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the nominal Democrats who hold office here in Campbell County cast their vote for ol' Disgeorge.

Boss, Weld pretty much slammed Kerry.  He did joke on C-SPAN at one point that when Kerry beat him for the Senate, when he called Kerry to congratulate him he told Kerry the he (Weld) just made him (Kerry) president.  But even on that far less partisan exchange on C-Span, he gave "respect" to Kerry, but was otherwise critical and praised Bush.  Bill Weld is one of my all time favorites (fiscally conservative, socially ""liberal""... and staunch/extreme in both regards).  The only thing he and I disagree on is who we'll be voting for in November Cheesy.  Rest assured, he supports Bush.

I saw a pool where it looks like 8% of those voting Bush in '00 are leaning to Kerry and 4% of those voting Gore in '00 are leaning to Bush.
