A helper at my school told me you need to go to law school to run for governor.  Is this true?  My dad told me it isn't true.

Maybe your teacher meant if you want to run for Governor, going to law school would HELP. Example to show that you don't have to go to law school: The Governor of California. I think he was an actor...

There are no educational requirements to get on the ballot.  It just probbaly helps your support if you were well educated, that;s probably what that guy meant.

Yes, I did know that. He was only elected to the Senate because he has a pretty face and is a smooth talker. Kind of like Danny Quayle.
