A helper at my school told me you need to go to law school to run for governor.  Is this true?  My dad told me it isn't true.

Maybe your teacher meant if you want to run for Governor, going to law school would HELP. Example to show that you don't have to go to law school: The Governor of California. I think he was an actor...

There are no educational requirements to get on the ballot.  It just probbaly helps your support if you were well educated, that;s probably what that guy meant.

Our system has shown, you don't need much, except charisma to get elected to public office.... Look at Santorum....
