You cared more about the Shelby County Assessor of Property election in 2008 than the Presidential one?

Cheyenne Johnson has already, indirectly, raised taxes by appraising property taxes way beyond fair market value.  Obama's tax increases haven't hit yet.

That and I had friends running for all of those offices Smiley

The only real disappointment I've had since I've started really paying attention to politics was the 2008 New Hampshire Democratic primary. That stung.

2000 South Carolina Primary, McCain would've won had Bush not been so much of an asshole. I remember crying at the results, and I was 5.

Oh yeah. The only real bad thing of early 2008. That was right after me graduating college, living at home, no job or expenses, soon moving to Minneapolis, not a car in the world. A blight on an otherwise great time.

2008, 1992, and 1996 US Presidential elections

You were either not alive then or a total infant who probably couldn't even crawl.
