Michelle Obama - cracking under the pressure of being First Lady - is drinking way more than she should, friends fear.

Longtime pals have been keeping a close eye on her White House booze intake for months, sources told The ENQUIRER, and her husband President Barack Obama even stepped in when she recently consumed too much alcohol.

"When Barack saw Michelle drink more than she should at a recent dinner, he hit the roof. He told  her, 'This is NOT going to turn into a problem!'" a close source told The ENQUIRER.

I mean, its like any other tabloid. It's for entertainment purposes only....and then...MAYBE for the Men in Black. 

If Republicans don't want Obama to be president, they should focus on why his policies aren't good, how Republicans make good policies and why we should care.

The White House has actually had a negative impact on the sobriety of several first ladies.  Most recently you had Betty Ford and Pat Nixon was noted by the secret service to have been intoxicated quite a bit.  Not that these rumors are true but the position has had consequences.

Good point, Patrick.  I'm sorry Betty Ford had her problems, but I have to say -- she dealt with them in an incredibly redemptive and classy way.  She has undoubtedly saved many lives by being open about her struggles and helping to establish the famous clinic that bears her name.

For Barack, I'm sure this is a matter of prime importance - would you want a Michelle Obama flying at you in a drunken rage?  I'm sure she could kick his butt, she probably outweighs him by 10-20 pounds.
