I have absolutely no religious convictions whatsoever, and I find this about as offensive as anything I've ever read here.

Why not just round the bastards up and stick them in death camps?

what?

My comments were made in haste and anger.  I apologize Miami.  This is the intolerance of the Left about which I and Markdel (and apparently Mr. Koch!) complain.  If it had been anyone else, I probably would have concluded, "poor undereducated white trash democrat.  Hmmm.  let's spend some more money on education."  But coming from you--whose posts are generally thoughtful and enlightened--gave me pause.  I am not a bigot.  I don't care whether you're icon is red or green or blue.  Mine is blue because I want people to ask why such a ing bleeding heart liberal is a jackboot-wearing greedy amoral republican.  I want the world to know of my epiphany.  I am like a little child who just learned that the emperor really is naked, my friend.  I am Mayor Koch!  (and I'm apparently a little full of myself tonight.  Or full of something.)

I think what I meant to say was best summarized by voltaire:
"I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

okay, enough of that mushy stuff.  Now, I'm off to blast some confused democrats.  Wink

cheers.   (clink)
