I have a hard time believing that anyone can take Perry seriously.  The guy got less than 40% of the vote against one of the weakest Democratic candidates in history, a joke of an Indy, and a guy named "Kinky".  How can you defend someone that bad?

LOL yeah. This proves that Texas isn't as truly batty as people give it credit for. Hell, compared to the average Okie, Texans are liberal. Just give them their guns and tax cuts and they'll shut up about banning gay marriage and abortion.

Yes I've been to Texas a ton of times, mostly West Texas (which gets alot of crap for being "fringe conservative").
