Getting one of those stickers is a mark of honor. It's proof of your willingness to offend a bunch of parents.

I remember reading a little study a long time ago that said albums WITH the sticker sold some non-insignifigant percentage more than the same albums without the sticker.  Which makes sense when you think about the mind of the young male.

An old NOFX EP - The PMRC can suck on this

that is Tammy Fae Bakker doing Jim Bakker in da butt

Two answers...

If they simply want to label product so parents can make informed choices, "10".  There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

If they want product censored or banned, "1".  Negative numbers, if that's an option.

As long as they don't censure anything, I couldn't care less.

One amusing thing I read was that those stickers are based on written lyrics, not actual ones. Glassjaw didn't want one because they wanted to look indie and hide the fact they were on a major label, so they just printed their lyrics censored and avoided one. haha.

I agree with Jsojourner.. if they want to provide independent ratings for music so that parents can make informed choices when buying music for their children, then great.

If they are looking to censor or ban children from buying certain music, then they can go to hell.
