Yes.  I wouldn't even care if he wasn't born in America.

...and what if he was? John McCain lost the election. You can't just install him...or Sarah for that matter.

Biden would become President.

I wonder what it must be like to try to argue against Obama's policies with them around. I'm thinking of the tea party people who came just to protest about taxes but had to deal with morons around them screaming about him being born in Kenya which kind of invalidates things. Luckily the left has never had much of an equivalent. Yes you have the occaisional "FREE MUMIA!" idiots infiltrating a completely unrelated protest but they're small and ignored, and the 9/11 "truthers" but everyone just laughs at or ignores them. The Birthers are basically the core of the US conservative movement like it.

Yep. John McCain wasn't technically born in the country either, is it legal for him to be president? Neither was George Romney, was it legal for him to become president?

Exactly....and what if Biden resigns (though he said he would try to continue on, if he could) and Pelosi takes over. I really don't feel the love there. The main thrust of what I meant to say is that either these rightists are dumb as hell or they have far more sinister plans than to just ask the President to step down and be replaced by someone like him.

If McCain won, would there have been a birther movement?

I'd rather Pelosi than Biden.  I might not agree with her on anything, but at least she has a brain and doesn't hide behind a goofy smile and fabricated stories.  But I digress... Tongue

On a serious note, I don't think the Birthers really expect Obama to lose the presidency.  They're pretty much engaging in the equivalent of hurling sh**t at his name.  I guess they think it might have some effect in 2012.

Didn't Congress pass some sort of resolution declaring children born to servicemen in the Panama Canal Zone eligible for the presidency?

Tell that to the elements of the MSM that wants our country to destroy itself so they can make billions by watching the country splinter into a hundred peices as the liberals and sepratists are more and more motivated to leave their mark on the streets.

It is stupid but it's not done with. A significant portion of the Republicans believe this BS, and it's scary.

Also, let's not play this game again. Birther haters should shut up? Really? Standing up for what's right is a bad thing now?

Agreed. Owning the birthtards is a righteous, moral, and just cause!

The birthers are right.  Obama was actually born; it's Romney who is a robot.

Not only yes, but hell yes.

Why can't they and the Truthers just make a settlement in Antarctica and leave us alone?

Considering that the unemployment rate among both has to be above the national average = ++++economy

Oh, right. Maybe Greenland is a more affordable alternative.
