Will Rell run for re-election?

There is rumor going around here in CT that Gov. Jodi Rell will not be running for re-election. A local blog here in Norwalk picked up a story, in which they report that both Lt. Governor Fedeli and House Minority Leader Larry Cafero of Norwalk are both seriously considering running if Jodi bows out.

It seems like maybe some already knew that Jodi might not run, since a few months ago Larry set up a new site, www.explorecafero.com .  If she doesnt run, I'll support Larry 110%

I Hope she runs. I don't agree with her on ANYTHING. But I don;t want the Dems to get their hands on this seat.

Rell hasn't been doing much fundraising, which is in part fueling these rumors.   Two of the Democrats in the race raised more money in 2Q 2009 than she has in her campaign account, IIRC.  We'll see.  Rell's supposedly waiting until after the 2009 elections to decide.
