Because of Obama's failure to attain 60% of the vote on the first ballot, we head into Day 4 of the voting. This will run for 2 days. However, the vote is to be held secretly. Therefore, do not specify who you support, but only identify where you are from, and what kind of Democrat you are. That should give us a small inkling of who you support, while not giving away who you choose.

The catch is that the leading contender must have the support of at least 60% of the delegates. Therefore, it is going to be repeatly narrowed down, and balloted, until this result is achieved.

Unless you are a Independent or Democrat, don't vote.

On another note, if either Obama or Warner fail to achieve 60% this time around, then we are going to move for a vote for a compromise canidate, which will be explained later.

Why not just go for whoever gets the largest share of the vote, rather than apply an impractical 60% threshold?  It'd save an awful lot of trouble for one thing.  Huh

I thought the two-third-rule had been abrogated by Roosevelt. How comes that a candidate has to get three fifth now ?

I second this, guys.
I don't want Dems in our own GOP process (all the more now with VP nomination), so I don't mess in the Dem convention.

Very well, we are going to have to nominate a compromise canidate. I will wait until tommorow night, and then we will see, from among the nominees, who the forum votes for.
