Just got an e-mail from the head of the Republican club requesting my prescene at the town hall meeting with Rep. Steve Rothman.  I have been told my unique brand of fiery rhetoric, intelligence, and refusal to back down will be needed.

Chances I get dragged out and/or arrested?

I wish Minnick would have one of these in Coeur d' Alene. I think he knows he'd be mobbed by angry half-retarded redneck Republicans if he had one here though. His only safe spot would be Moscow or maybe Boise.

I there was one in my neighborhood, I would bring an unblunted saber....and I have been taught how to use it.  Cheesy ...because what is the use of guns? You can't have Mortal Kombat (or Soul Calibur)-style rioting with GUNS...though I bet you could if you really wanted to....Hell, it would be a good idea with armored vests...so long as armor piercing rounds aren't used...

I'd take that to 1-1,000 odds.

I got an e-mail to go to the Sestak one in Philly which was of course about health care.  I would go to these things if I had more time.

I got an email from the College Republicans wanting me to go to one with David Price in Raleigh. It's weird because I thought I left my school's Republicans club.

Are you becoming a "wet" like me, or is it because chasing women is taking too much of your time, and the GOP club does not have an interesting pool of the same for ya?  Smiley

Depends on your definition of "wet." Wink

I found most of the leadership and members to be far too reactionary. They embraced many radicals within the party and seemed to ostracize those who disagreed with them. I was labeled a RINO for my initial support of Giuliani early in the primary season.

My point. They were too "out there" and I really didn't mesh well with them. Most of those groups tend to be activists anyway, and those types tend to be out of touch with the mainstream. The club had two wings: the Ron Paulites and the far-rightists. We'd also regularly have pro-life speakers come in, and since I'm pro-choice, I'd have no interest in being preached to for an hour every Monday.
