Another funny game on the model of "Who would be the best running mate for...".
An user has to chose the party in which he will run, plus his running mate and his opponent tickets. The next user shall make a map representing what he thinks will be the result of a presidential election with these people, and then propose his own list of tickets and so forth...

I hope you will enjoy it. Wink

I start :
Democratic : Me (VT)/Barnes (GA)
Republican : Nik (CA)/DWTL (NJ)
Libertarian : Mechman (OK)/Vepres (WY)
Constitution : StatesRights (MD)/JewishConservative (NC)
Green : Hashemite (ME)/Tender Branson (WI)

My God, Antonio, how can you make me chose between you, Hashemite and Mechman?

I have to abstain

You probably misunderstood. Wink

You just have to post a map ( as we do in "election what-ifs" ) showing the results of this election. Obviously I think to be far too radical to have any chance, but it would still be interesting to see it.

Also nobody is definitely interested in playing this game ?

If you want to retaliate, you can still put me on a ticket with BRTD.

NiK and DWTL perform surprisingly well in suburbs and even somewhat in the cities (25-35%). Antonio/Barnes seen as very radical, Hashemite and Banson run stronger than expected, States Rights takes some rural area votes away from the more mainstream NiK. Mechaman scares the sh**t out of everybody.

Democratic : Me (VT)/Barnes (GA)   141 EV/40.3%
Republican : Nik (CA)/DWTL (NJ)      387 EV/49.5%
Libertarian : Mechman (OK)/Vepres (WY) 0EV/.025%
Constitution : StatesRights (MD)/JewishConservative (NC)    0EV/4.1%
Green : Hashemite (ME)/Tender Branson (WI)   10 EV/6.5%

Cool, I win Vermont and Maine, the coolest places. I'd obviously poll so crappy in the Deep South since they would guess my opinion of them and they'd hate my secular atheism.

Cool, I win Vermont and Maine, the coolest places.

But I WANTED Vermont ! Sad

Hamilton : 46.7%, 403 E.V.
Meeker : 35.4%, 127 E.V.
Marokai : 11.8%, 8 E.V.
StatesRights : 4.2%, 0 E.V.
SPC : 1.9%, 0 E.V

Hamilton's image of moderate democrat from a liberal state permits him to win the election very comfortaby, doing very well in the traditionally moderate-liberal states and the west, whereas his more traditional conservative southerner running mate makes him do very well in the South. Plus, unfortunately for Meeker, Marokai reveals to be an excellet campaigner that manages to gather the liberal vote, win two States and come very close in Ohio and Michigan. States does well among Southern conservatives unpleased by Hamilton's candidacy. Libertarians have no political base.

Next scenario :
Democratic : Me (VT)/Deeds for Governor (VA)
Republican : Vander Blub (NC)/RowanBrandon (NJ)
Libertarian : Vepres (WY)/GM3 (PA)
Independent : Stark (CA)/Richius (WY)

Oh, Damn ! Excuse me Tmthforu, you just preceded me... Sad

VanderBlub- 270 EV 48.4%
Antonio- 268 EV 49.9%
Vepres- 0 EV 1.2%
Stark- 0 EV .4%

A close campaign centered on the Ruse Belt States. VanderBlub is seen as an idiot by most left-wingers, but America still hates the French and Antonio is viewed as radical. The dislike for both candidates and lack of good alternative causes a tight campaign in hard hit states like Ohio and Pennsylvania and Iowa. Most swing states are really close, with voter outrage across the nation.
