Post your experiences of debates, arguments and abuse you've experienced on the internet, on any site.

I remember just after i got a internet connection in April last year, i joined Youtube, and i had a long argument with some troll who was a far-right radical Tory, and a few weeks later my channel got spammed by a BNP supporter who posted about 200 comments saying "Vote BNP" and other things.

I've also had countless arguments with Ron Paul supporters and John McCain supporters during the campaign last year. I also have debates with a "Libertarian" on Virtual Politics.

I debated with loads of Obama-holics and McCain-holics (during the primary) and I'm currently  (As in this month and last month) have been debating with idiots who think conservatism is the only way and if oyu aren't 100% conservative then your satan and must die.

Self-debate seems boring. Is it?

You really are stupid, aren't you?

Just because I'm far-right doesn't mean I support these ridiculous "IDEOLOGICAL PURITY" Bull****

I think everyone has a right to have their opinion.

So No I don't self-debate, mainly because I'm not a far-right fanatic who thinks if your views aren't 100% like mine then your a RINO

I tend not to get involved in arguments online. This is the only political forum I am a member of barring the odd post on ConHome. I tend to have arguments with religious nuts whether online or in the street though Smiley

Not really, except with liberal dumbasses who worship Obama, and conservative dumbasses with stupid social views.

I've been called everything from a "bible thumping retard gun totting redneck" by closet statist "liberals" to a "bleedingheart godhating socialist babykillun liberal elitist" by moral fascist "conservatives" on the nets.

On this website people tend to go toward more civil discussion, if it gets to out of hand people usually call it quits just to preserve the peace unless one of them is just too batty.

I tend not to debate stuff online, but I've had my share of ludicrous arguments/flamewars on other sites in the past. Usually just typical 'internet drama' BS - a load of rubbish looking back, but I'm glad it happened as it led to me becoming less invested in silly stuff (and hopefully becoming less of a dickbag, too) Grin

Those crowds are the most annoying and irrational. I actually argue with Obama worshippers why Obama is bad from a progressive standpoint and all they do is come up with some bullsh*t excuse for him and accuse me of being a "closet far right extremist". I'm not kidding.

I once had an argument with a far right troll over whether or not homosexuality is genetic. That went nowhere for a long time, but I'm proud to say most other debates I have gotten engaged in either ended quickly or resulted in me learning something substantial.

I've had so many discussions/arguments in various message boards over the years.  So many MB come and go, peak and burn out, get too big, fade away, become full of idiot children...<ahem>.....

I love being insulted.  The funnier and more accurate the better.  But I love to be proven wrong more.  Sadly it doesn't happen very often.
