It depends.  I can guarantee that if Obama's popularity continues to drop, it will, but that is not an assured thing.

Thing is that most of the new Republicans are trolls.  You think of all these hacks who have no idea on real life and yes I know we have some but almost all of this flow seems to be people with no ideas or horrid ones.

Trust me, we had the same problem when it was coming from the other side.

Though deadman has a point.

Interesting question. The GOP was totally demoralized after the Dem sweep in 2008 (largely deserved I think), but as Obama's numbers drop, along with his acolytes, morale might be increasing. I haven't seen much useful coming out of my party yet, but the last thing left in Pandora's Box after it was opened, was hope.

If this is what it is producing, hope will probably die soon too.

In general, I find this generation's depth of political thought, both on the right and the left, to be incredibly weak.

Quite frankly, if one wanted to make a broader point about society too on this ground, it would be quite astute.
