It's weird to think that I was once unsure about this kind of question. The answer should be obvious.

Corzine is definitely in a better position than Deeds, who could lose by double digits.

Terry McAuliffe would be ahead by about five points right now, FWIW.

That's a joke, right? I still can't tell.

McAuliffe would be 20 points down. Virginia is not a liberal state. Deeds was the best Dem candidate.

I voted for Corzine. If he can tought his environmental policies to counterattack Christie's reform agenda, rooting out corruption and being tough on crime, I think he has a chance.

Environmental policies? You know the Sierra Club and Environment New Jersey have refused to endorse him, right?

He wants to fix environmental policies, Cap and Trade the same agreement that most republicans like Christie are concerned about.

Quotes?  Because I don't think anyone in New Jersey has heard about that.

I don't think people put much inferses on who endorses whom, Corzine is a regulatory Democrat who voted against Gale Norton who was harmful for consumers.  I think consumers put great trust in regulation, no matter how much it is and I support what Corzine is doing on the environment.

Corzine. I see really nothing occurring between the present and future that would change the way the Virginia race is going. Right now Deeds is down by double digits in almost every poll, and Corzine is sort of coming back a bit. NJ is a Democratic state, while VA is more purple. I think Christie and McDonnell both win, but if anyone had a chance to lose, it would be Christie.

I meant quotes from Corzine suggesting he has done anything for the environment.

Corzine still has a chance of winning.  He has narrowed the margin, and if we see that a reputable poll shows that the race is close, then it could be a nailbiter.

Deeds is just falling short of this even being a competitive race.

Oh, what part of his environmental record is your favorite? I like the part where he cut 550 jobs from the state DEP and reduced funding by 25%, giving the agency a yearly budget that is actually less than it takes in in fines every year. I also like where he cut funds for open space projects.

Or maybe the best part is that he favored sweetheart development deals by politically connected Democratic firms in South Jersey over the opposition of environmentalist groups?

In any case, Jon Corzine must be doing something right about the environment if the Sierra Club called said that he “has the worst environmental record of recent governors.”

Well, as I stated before, Unions have endorsed Corzine, and I think that puts more of importance than environmentalists who criticize left leaning politicians who don't agree on fuel emission standards.  Dems in charge or Unions will work some sort of compromise in the way of jobs as with Salazar, if they don't agree.
