A year ago I don't think anyone would have been willing to predict his defeat, but Culver is in trouble with approvals like that and rumors of former 4 term governor Terry Branstad entering the race.

lol @ Arnold and Paterson

Wow @ Arnold's numbers. It must take real skill to be regarded worse than David Paterson.

Also, don't Kaine's numbers seem kind of low?

Bill Richardson rebounded nicely after his exoneration.

Internals.....

In last years exit poll the Dems had a 6 point party id advantage, Conservative had an 12 point advantage over liberals, with moderates having a 13 point advantage over conservatives.  In this poll the GOP now has a party id advantage of +4, that 13 point advantage moderates had over conservatives disappeared and is now even, and that 12 point advantage conservatives had over liberals, more than double and is now 26 points.   Sure......

It's all about voter intensity.  Besides, last year's massive surge of people who suddenly identified as Democrats were never really Democrats, just Indies who were voting Democratic at the time. Party ID is relatively stable when it comes to official registration with the state, but very fluid when it comes to public polling.

A shame they didn't do South Carolina.  It would be interesting to see if Sanford is in single diigits, or even worse, lower than the MoE.

Might be true to a point, but I highly doubt conservatives have a 3-1 advantage over liberals in Virginia regardless of intensity.

Why does SurveyUSA have a crush on Alabama? Seriously, who cares about Alabama?

They care about the money they get from the TV stations in Alabama who want a monthly poll.
