I think you can probably safely ignore it if it only happened once.

When I hit submit it said that there was a database error and if it happened again I should contact an administrator.  So, I assumed it didn't post my message but it really had posted my message...which is why I posted the same message twice by accident

This also happened to me yesterday when I tried posting a poll in the "What-If" board.
