barack hussain osama gave his little school speech today and aside from a couple very quick left wing ideas he stuck into it it was mostly a very good one.  he said stay in school, obey your moms and dads and work hard. what Could be wrong with that?  Well nothing so he is getting deserved praise from many corners incluiding Newt.

But here is the thing people are not getting.  It was pointed out by some on Fox and surpriseingly on NBC today.

The speech this president gave today was not the original speech that he had intended to give orignally.  the dept of education had plans to distribute work books calling for an obama youth corp to advance the afro-leninist agenda.  There were discussion groups planned to get the students to work with teachers and the teachers' masters (unions) to promote socialism and pressure parents and others.

But no work books were given.  The speech was changed from one filled with left wing talking points to a basically nice one with many good points and only a couple of the usual pc lines.

Yes, osama comes through smelling like roses but so does the conservatives.  WE STOPPED HIM DEAD IN HIS TRACKS AND FORCED THE CHANGE TO SOME THING ACCEPTABLE.

We will do this on the communistic health care plan (allready progress is being made and the dumbcRATs are caveing in)

We will do this on taxes and on social issues.  we will cripple this president just like we did with slick willie and we will win.

Why?  Because good always triumphs over evil.  No, not all liberals are evil this is not what I mean.  Some mean very well.  But liberal IDEAS and proposals are evil.  And good will defeat them.  FOr those of us who are conservatives keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight.

Praise Jesus and Glenn Beck! If it weren't for his tireless work in exposing the likes of Van Jones and Obama's plans for an Obama youth, we'd all be marking Jews and marching for war with Poland/Mexico! I also fully expected Obama to announce a name change of the US to the USSA (United Socialist States of America) to reflect his radical upheaval of our nation's economic structure. I suppose all of this was avoided until the next battle.

Man i wish i so oblivious and naive as to actually believe what you wrote in this thread.  They say ignorance is bliss, so i guess on some level i am kinda jealous that you are so ignorant and i can never be.  It really would be nice to turn off my brain like this, i wouldn't get so frustrated with the ineffectiveness of the obama admin and the democratic control of congress. i could just use stupid name calling like a fifth grader and drink the kool aid.

On the point you believe your are making, those statements are what is generally referred to as talking points.  When the republicans realized that they had effectively overreacted to an innocent speech to students, one i might add that's was far less propagandist than their hero Reagan's', they had to do something to save face.  In this effort they came of with asinine assertion that they had somehow forced obama to change his speech and his lesson plan.  The one thing the base this on is the fact that obama switched from calling on the student to give him advice.  Advice in this instance how to help them and their families to a more tame writing assignment about their goals.  the former,  sadly again, done by the elder bush so once again hypocrisy at its finest.  But whatever,  if this ultimately makes the racists and those who fear obama as a symbol for a changing society they wish not to see happen so be it.  I got a huge laugh and you all looked as foolish and out of touch as you truly are.  Enjoy the ignorance brain dead existence Coburn on some level i envy you.

****This was purely an attack on coburn and his ilk and not sane republicans, i never really care about his rants but just felt like typing what i always think when i read his foolish postings.****

When Bush spoke to students we had to have congressional hearings with Alexander called before Congress to give an accounting for it.  the DumbocRATs were all up in arms over it.

DOUBLE STANDARD

The point is you never got to see the original speech planned did you?  HMMMMMMMMM?

Don't know why i am arguing with such a naive person such as yourself who is so brainwashed that what i am about to write you will considered made up or not true. Which ever allows you to go on believing in the reality you and your friends on your compound have created.

However,  the democrats in 1991 did complain this is true, they did because Reagan speech three years earlier was pushing his agenda.  He spoke about what he had done and why it was good.  If you want to see it and wank there many a youtube video of it. There was not much fuse about Reagan's until afterwords.  But fearing another propaganda speech they complained about bush proceeding with his planned speech.  They also did convene sub committee hearings however these hearings were not about the content of the speech but about allocating funds from the DOE for the speech so not even remotely close.  Good try though.  Finally, whether or not democrats complained does that some how make it right that you complained.  You cant make a right from two wrongs.  Have you heard that saying before.

On the last foolish point you have made that we didn't get to see the first draft.  Well, the absence of something is not proof of something.  Using your logic you can say almost anything is true that we can not prove is false. Complete and udder foolishness.

Normally i would never attack someone for their beliefs especially when trying to convince them of something.  But in you case i made an exception because you start with an attack then move on to what ever point you believe is worthy of us wasting our time trying to refute.  So idiot read a book, turn on something that doesn't echo your radical beliefs and by god man educate yourself.  If not for you for those children you might have now or will in the future.  Its not fair to them to be brought up learning the vitriolic hatred and closed minded beliefs for which you ascribe.

FOr those of us who are conservatives keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight.

What's 'good' about "conservative" fight, given the fact that they are increasingly so irrational to the point of that they becoming quasi-fascist (fascism is an ideology premised on a discourse of anti-rationalism) and are so nihilistic, nowadays, they'd make the Bolsheviks proud

Isn't conservatism supposed to be rational in its thinking and pragmatic in its method?

Still peddling the communistic crap are we, Simpleton?

Any rationalist can can see that the president stands somewhere between modern liberalism, on the center-left (the original Third Way between socialism, on the left, and classical liberalism, on the right) and the "cult of neoliberalism", on the center-right - of course, you rightwing dogmatoids wouldn't know rationalism if it hit you on head with a sledgehammer

It's stuff like this that makes me think he is NOT a sock.  This is exactly how it's being spun on talk radio and Christian radio.

But his other posts are sooooooo sockish.  I dunno.

This has to be a disingenuous troll post by Coburn. It just has to be!  Nobody could really actually believe that kind of drivel could they?  I mean that as a serious question actually.

I'm a bit surprised that people are still seriously responding to Coburn. In fact, if you reply to him you are more of an idiot than he is. He's a fake persona and a troll (and not a very good one at that) and I have to wonder when this forum is finally going to realize this. This is the reason this forum is easy to troll.

Probably a troll/sock

But lots of people buy this crap.  Coburn is actually parrotting the talking points from James Dobson's Focus on the Family. And MSNBC had some whack-a-doo on saying exactly the same thing (of course, therein rests a big part of the problem anyway).

So sure.  A lot of people think and believe exactly as our little buddy does.

Meanwhile, Newt Gingrich: 'Every child' should use speech

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0909/26865.html

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich defended President Barack Obama’s speech to school children Tuesday, urging “every child” to read the remarks.

Some conservative critics have accused the president of trying to “indoctrinate” school children with a speech Tuesday welcoming students back to school, but Gingrich said during an interview on NBC’s “Today Show” that the attacks are without merit.

“President Reagan did it, President George H.W. Bush did it,” he said. “I read the speech yesterday when it was posted and I think the White House was smart to post it.”

“It’s a good speech,” Gingrich added. “I recommend it to everybody if you have any doubts. I would love to have every child in America read it, think about it, and learn that they should stay in school and they should study.” ...

Newt goes on to criticize the president's speech on Labor Day

“If he can give a speech tomorrow night in the tone of his speech to the students, this country would be much better off,” Gingrich said.

I spent the last few days checking out the city data political forum.  Some people are quite scary and Coburnesque over there.
