I was tempted to say a similar thing in the Allende thread but decided to ignore it, but I'll go ahead and say it here. I understand if the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks isn't particularly important to you or if you think people make too big of a deal out of it (I disagree, but I can understand why you might feel that way). However, there are clearly people in this world and on this board for whom it does mean an incredible amount - people who were affected by the attacks personally in several cases. At the very minimum I would hope that you could respect their wishes and refrain from threads like this as their only purpose is to be a contrarian and provoke a reaction.
