City:  We are the Winter Strawberry Capital of the US---Those Strawberries y'all are eating from November - March.....check the labels--they're going to be from one of our large growers! In fact, in the LG refrigerator commercial, the man who is handing over the Strawberries is one of the largest growers in town!

State: The Villages in Ocala has the highest STD, and Alcoholism rates per age demographic in the state.

Where is States?

Sitting on the couch, reading the directions on how to attach the seat to the  little one's new walker.......

Well it's damn boring around here without his grouchiness........ Wink

Fort Wayne:  Smallish city, but home to what Jack Hannah called "one of the greatest zoos in North America".  The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is a sprawling, massive facility with attractions that belie its name.  It is not a glorified petting zoo, even though that's what it sounds like.  Still, we really need to get elephants.

Indiana:  In the 1920's, more than half the elected members of the Indiana legislature were also members of the Ku Klux Klan.

City: My area sucks so badly that where I live can barely be considered a village, just an area that people decided to inhabit.

State: Ohio has one of the very few non-rectangular flags in the world.

I can tell you something else about Rugby - it used to (a long time ago) have a couple of Social Credit councillors.

I am actually.  I never really thought about it until that show, but when I travel I realize that diners just are not that prevalent in other states and things like Dennys and Waffle House (which we don't have) appear quite often.  It is hard to go 5 miles in inhabited NJ areas and not find a diner.  In fact, I can think of 15 off hand within 10 minutes of my house

Yes, but New Jersey is really small. And the other 49 states are really big.

I'll use one of my ancestoral homes since it hasn't been mentioned.

Pattaya is a week long city-wide wild party during the Thai holiday of 'Songkran', during April.  It is something to see, though too much for me.

Dublin: Has given birth to 3 winners of the nobel prize for Literature (and another was a long-time resident). How many other cities can say that?

Ireland: The Island was actually a net exporter of food during the potato famine period (1845-50). A LOL CAPITALISM moment if any.

OOh I love reuben sandwiches.  Lets see.. I won't comment on my town precisely, but the Isaan region generally.  It is a region of 20-25 million people the size and shape of East Germany which has only one Indian restaurant but several thousand short time hotels ('bungalows').

Where's the indian restaurant? Korat?

Who cares?  New Jersey has the probably some of the most diner suitable areas and we have diners which other states just do not.  You literally can't go ten minutes in between diners anywhere in the state

NJ probably has the most diners per square mile. There's no way you guys have more places to eat at than CA. We are our own country. We have like 8 million more people than the whole of Canada.
