125 - though I presume I got lucky. Some of the sections left me guessing too much for comfort.

I doubt I'd do this shitty if tested in mother tongue, though. Tongue

Eh. Wait. That was totally worthless. Is there a way of proving my result that doesn't involve uploading a screenshot to the gallery?

Copy and Paste is so easily manipulated...

What is the International High IQ Society?
The International High IQ Society was founded in the spirit of the urban academies and intellectual salons that first sprang up during the European Enlightenment. These communities of amateur scholars were devoted to the casual pursuit of the arts and sciences, and their members represented the learned professions, merchants, writers, and artisans. After flourishing throughout Europe and North America, many of these communities were displaced by modern research universities and influential government and private sector research foundations. Much was gained from this transformation, but something was lost as well.

The International High IQ Society takes what's best about the golden age of the intellectual salons--tolerance, moral engagement, and faith in the free play of ideas--and applies them to a contemporary setting.

What is a Personal Intelligence Profile?
During the test you answered six different types of questions: verbal, sequential and analogic matrices, factual knowledge, mathematics and visual memory. We analyzed how you answered each of these questions, compared your results with others who have taken the test, and compiled a comprehensive personal intelligence profile for you. When you become a member of the International High IQ Society you receive your personal intelligence profile for Free ($9.95 value).         Click here to view a sample

143. It would be nice to know the answers to some of the questions, though.

Edit: 149 on the other test.

For the record, I got a 125.

Out of curiosity, I retook the test, and clicked "A" for all the answers.

I got a 100.

Which would be the value you'd expect to get. A random experiment should yield an average result. (Though only if they don't measure time taken. Which would make it a less-than-scientific test. But I knew that anyways - note they're claiming to be the most scientific test available for free, not to be an actual scientific test.)

And while it likely is not your accurate IQ, it is somewhat more accurate for comparison purposes.

Got a 125 as well.

FWIW, I know that I'm definitely not the smartest person around here by far.  Tongue  That's not where my strengths are.

Harry, I'm pretty sure the Mississippi state legislature made it illegal for any person living in Mississippi to score higher than 95 on any IQ test.

131 - as far as I can see I knew the verbal, factual and mathematical ones, but was completely guessing on those #@$% things about which image is missing where things get rotated or something (really, I have no clue).

One of the verbal questions had no right answer. It was "flammable is to inflammable as valuable is to"... but then there was no exact synonym for "valuable". "Flammable" means exactly the same as "inflammable", it's just that the original word was "inflammable" but for safety reasons they recently dropped the "in-" because some people thought it meant "not (in)flammable". I see no reason to believe this is more scientific than any other bs-y IQ tests floating around the internet.

I aggressively sought out wrong answers, and still manages to pull off an 84 somehow.

Skipped (allowed to time out) all questions where I wasn't certain of a wrong answer - still pulled off a 68.

The only ones I have a lot of trouble with are the visual memory ones where you study the grid for 5 seconds and then guess which one it was on the next screen.  I feel like I'm guessing most of the time.

That in particular doesn't surprise me, since actually having an IQ of 68 would call into question whether or not you are capable of using a computer.

It probably has a general base line of around 65ish, if not 70.

I will admit to being somewhat skeptical about this "International High IQ Society"... WTF?  Sounds like a joke just from the name.
