Ron Paul pwns.  Democrats split their votes between Hillary and Barack and some anti-war liberals defect to Ron Paul.  Social cons, war hawks and beltway republicans either suck it up and pull the lever for the libertarian rebel or stay home altogether (seriously, where else are they gonna go?).  Thus, Ron Paul wins easily in the west and south and eats into some of the smaller/rural blue states.
