These accusations would be more ridiculous if Wilson were a Republican representing rural Pennsylvania or Wyoming or suburban Arizona or something. But being a congressman from South Carolina who tried to push to get the Confederate flag on the state flag, there's a definite undercurrent in the willingness to be rude.
