(ECRI) - Five months ago, back in April, ECRI predicted that the recession would end this summer. That was a very lonely position to take at the time. Since then, the business cycle has unfolded in line with the predictions of ECRI’s leading indexes. This week, Fed Chairman Bernanke finally acknowledged that the recession was "very likely over."

Now, the attention has turned to when job growth will recommence. ECRI’s latest study analyzes the historical pattern of job growth around economic recoveries, and comes to a definitive conclusion about when job growth will resume.

This information is excerpted from a full report issued on September 18 to Professional members. For information on how to receive ECRI's professional services click this link.

How much is membership?

Hope its not too pricey since it seems a lot like privatized working papers which are free on most university websites.
