Does Hillary ask Israel for a full settlement freeze like Obama did? Also, how is the situation currently going there and in the rest of the Middle East?

The middle east is pretty much where i left it off, As far as the Palestinians go, I'm gonna leave that topic off for now, until after the midterms.

September 8th, 2009
- Due to the death of Michael Jackson, news about the middle east has been long forgotten by many. Today, Israel lifted several restrictions on products going into and out of Gaza. Rebuilding has been going well, and there have been no missile fire into Israel.
September 16th
- Panic that the H1N1 virus would go wild during the school year have largely died out, as no new cases have been reported.
September 29th
- Negotiations with between Israel and the Palestinians has been halted for several months, but today President Clinton sent Secretary of State Tim Kaine to Israel to ask Israel to freeze settlements in the west bank. No progress seems to have been made.
October 1st
- Unemployment stands still at 10.3%
October 16th
- Less than three weeks away from the 2009 Governors races, word has spread that president Clinton and Secretary of Health and Human Services Romney are trying to devise a bipartisan universal health care program similar to the one Romney put forward when he was Governor of Massachusetts.
October 30th
- The first set of troops are withdrawn from Iraq, following the four year time table set by President Clinton earlier this year.
November 1st
- Unemployment at 10.2%.

I'm surprised the Dems nominated Deeds for VA Gov in this TL. I figure that if Clinton won, she and Bill could give McAuliffe a boost for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination.

- For the first time today, the Dow Jones rose above 10,000. It is thought of a sign that the Great Recession is coming to an end.
November 12th
- Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a psychiatrist from the Fort Hood military base unleashed fire on his fellow soldiers, leaving 13 dead and 32 wounded. When authorities learned of his Palestinian descent, American dislike and distrust for the Palestinians grew.

December 25th
- On Christmas Day, a man of Nigerian descent named Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to bomb a plane by hiding a bomb in his underwear. Luckily, he was stopped and no one was harmed.

- Unemployment at 10.5%.
January 6th
- Today, the RNC released an ad showing clips of all of President Clintons campaign promises, and how they haven't been completed at all.
January 10th- Massachuessets Special Election

January 12th
- A 7.0 magnitude earthquake hits Haiti, a nation already drowned in poverty. The casualties have not yet been confirmed, but they are expected extremely high. The Clinton administration announces that it will create a Haiti Relief Foundation and the next two months will be spent sending aid to Haiti.
January 20th
- Today during State of the Union Address, President Clinton spoke about the economy, Haiti, the Palestinian conflict, several other issues, and finally the most anticipated--Health Reform. A plan for Universal Health Care was announced today to cover all un-insured americans that do not have Health care. Many details of which are not yet known, but President Clinton assured that the bill will be passed by June.

I'm no Democrat, but I can safely say Clinton is doing a better job in the TL than Obama's done in his entire RL term.

- Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced plans to vote on the House version of the bill by the end of the month. Republicans have grown critical over how high the national debt will grow from the costs of the bill.

- Today at around 1:00 PM, President Clinton along with first dude Bill Clinton spoke about the Health Reform Bill in Little Rock, Arkansas. Several minutes into the speech, Bill began wiping his for head and clutching his chest. At 1:21, Bill began to complain of chest pains and was taken out of the area. Sources say he has been transfered to the nearest hospital. Sources have confirmed that the former President has gone into cardiac arrest. At 1:47, sources have confirmed what many have feared...

- Following the dealth of her husband, President Clinton has become very reclusive. Plans for the Health Care Vote have been stalled to March.

- A massive 8.8 earthquake hit Chile today. Athough it shifted the Earths axis four inches, the damge and dealth toll is expected to be much lower than in Haiti.

- Unemployment at 10.8%.
March 6th
- With unemployment, the idea of a universal health care bill has left many americans minds, but it certainly hasn't left the thought of Washingtons. President Clinton Has sent Secretary Romney to campaign for support on the bill the past two weeks, but support has continuesly declined. The house version passed today 220-215.
March 16th
- Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee blasted the President on his show today, saying that after all that talk on the campaign trail about change, the only thing President Clinton can do is steal ideas from fellow Republicans such as Mitt Romney.
March 21st
- President Clinton made her first public appearance today in over a month during on interview on meet the press. She said that her administartion is still moving foward and that Health Care will be passed by the end of the year.
April 1st
- Unemployment at 10.8%.
April 7th
- Today, Iran officially unveiled it's nuclear building factories to the public. Iranian President Ahmadenijad also announced a trip to the Gaza strip, and also a meeting with the Prime Minister to have private discussions.
April 10th
- The Senate version of the bill was passed today 54-46. The final version of the bill is expected to be voted on by the end of the summer. Headlines over the past days have also been filled with the growth of a small radical group who call themselves the "Tea Party". The group was formed largely as a anti-government group, and a group strongly against the Health Care Bill.
April 15th
- A list has been compiled of Senators and governors not seeking re-election.

- As congress works to try and devise a bipartisan Health Care bill, Republicans have prepared to filibuster the bill. Olympia Snowe said today "I will not vote for this bill, unless major changes are made. Our economy is in shambles and the government can not afford a task this large."
April 28th
- Rumors have begun that President Clinton is debating a troop surge in Afghanistan, due to the rising amount of violence in southern Afghanistan and further spread of the Taliban.
May 1st
- Unemployment at 11.0%.
May 6th
- Following a meeting with fellow Massachuessan Secretary Romney yesterday, Senator Scott Brown (R) announced that he would stop a Republican filibuster by voting for the bill if it reaches the Senate.

- Today, Iran officially announced that they have completed research, and that they now are in complete access of nuclear weapons (A.K.A Weapons of Mass Destruction). President Clinton immediately reacted, urging Iran not to use their new power for violence or to start war. She has set for Tim Kaine and Robert Gates to visit Iran in two weeks for negotiations.
June 12th
- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announces plans to make the final vote on the bill next week. Washington waits in anticipation.
June 17th
- Today, Secretary of State Kaine, and Secretary of Defense Gates met with President Ahmadenijad to discuss the possibility of dropping Iran's new nuclear weapons program. When Ahmadenijad refused, US officials presumably pleaded with the Iranians not to use their power for military purposes. GOP critics say that the move makes our nation look weak, and afraid.
June 18th
- The day before the Health Care vote, President Clinton, and Vice President Obama met with several conservative Democrats to ensure a victory. Day by day, the President's worries of legislation have grown.

June 19th, 2010
- One step away, Health Care reform failed again today. The vote was incredibly close 49-51. This was a major blow to the Clinton Adminstration, which has already lost popularity due to unemployment remaining above 10%, and even reaching 11%. Results below.

- Following the vote on Health Care, President Clinton has declined to do any interviews, or make any public appearances. The republicans aired an ad today showing pictures of all the Democrats who voted against the Health Care Bill, saying that she can't even get her own party to vote for her socialist plans.

- President Clinton made her first interview today with Wolf Blitzer on the Situation Room. The president said that again, they are moving on, and they realized that likelyhood that a bill of that magnitude was not ready to be passed, but it was worth a good shot. - Unemployment at 10.6%.
July 9th
- President Clinton announced plans for a 50,000 troop surge in Afghanistan today. All troops are expected to arrive by the end of the month, no time table for withdrawel have been made yet. She also made an announcement for plans to make a lost cost energy bill to create pro-energy effecient jobs.
July 22nd
- The completion of the Green Jobs Bill made news today. The bill is set to be sent to the house 31st.
July 28th
- 50,000 troops entered Afghanistan today, as violence peaked and the Taliban strengthened. General Stanley Chrystal said today that he believes that Osama Bin Laden will be caught with in the next five years. Some worries of the surge are that the Taliban have been moving towards northen Pakistan.
July 31st
- The Green Jobs Bill passed the House today 302-133. The Democrats enjoyed the victory, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi saying that she hopes this will be the last economic bill for this recession.
August 1st
- Unemployment at 10.7%.
August 7th
- The Green Jobs Bill passed the Senate today 71-29. President Clinton praised this as a great accomplishment and that the dark days are behind us. The republicans have made no comment.
August 19th
- Mitt Romney stunned many today, when he announced his resignation from his cabinet position. He said that he tryed to work with the President on a bipartisan Health Care Bill, but it failed. He said his role in this administration is done. President Clinton has not yet decided his replacement.
August 29th
- Kathleen Sebelius is to replace Mitt Romney as the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
September 1st
- Unemployment at 10.3%.

Though I must add, Brown would vote against the health bill, since that is what his whole campaign was about.
Brown was elected before the HC bill was announced, and Romney convinced him to vote for it.
