What about the other Governor's races in the other states? Also things do look particularly bad for Hilldawg, Might she try to get Cape and Trade through congress before thhe new appointees are sworn in...Things shold be pretty interesting once the Republican field busts open lol, Keep it comming

The other governors races will be in today and tomorrow. Candiadtes for president will probably start being announced on Friday or Saturday.

Just one question: What happened in the Gubernatorial race in Illinois?

I was going to say that late but, since Obama didnt become president Blagojevich never sold his seat, so he stayed governor. Then he paid off the other democrats to not run in the primaries. Even if he wasnt the nominee, the republican would have won there anyway.

November 3rd, 2010- Following huge Republican wins in the Senate and Gubernatorial races last night, Democratic Oregan Senator Ron Wyden will replace Harry Reid as the Senate Majority Leader.


November 6th- Two years away from election night 2012, President Clinton announced plans today for a Cap and Trade Energy bill. It will be sent to the house as soon as possible, President Clinton said in an interview with TIME Magazine. President Clinton has made no comment on the midterm results.


November 15th- Mike Huckabee announced on his show today that he has no plans to run for president in 2012, and he is very happy with his show.


November 21st- The Cap and Trade Bill to control emissions passed the house today, 280-155. President Clinton said that it shows that she can still pass her agenda even without a giant majority in Congress.


December 1st- Unemployment at 10.0%

December 11th- The  Cap and Trade Energy Bill passed the Senate today 56-44. The bill was made possible to pass today by a group of several moderate Republicans.


December 17th- The first official nominee for the 2012 Presidential Election, former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson announced his campaign for President today in Albuquerque. A relative unknown among many, it is not known how his campaign will play out.

December 29th- United States Representitive Mike Pence of Indiana announced his intent to seek the Republican nomination for President today in Indianapolis. Many more announcements are expected to be made over the course of the next two months.


December 31st- Meeting with Kim Jogn Il today, President Clinton has announced that no treaty with North Korea can be made. She also made an announcement of a suprise visit to Jerusleum today. She is expected to arrive in less than three days.


January 1st, 2011- Unemployment at 10.1%.

January 2nd- Ron Paul announced today that he will not seek the Republican nomination for President, and that he will endorse Gary John for President.

"We need a libertarian leader in this country, and Gary Johnson is the one that has his name on the top of the list."


January 5th- Returning from her foreign trip, President Clinton has released a statement that at this moment, she can not convince the Israelis to freeze settlements in the West Bank.


January 10th- Rick Santorum announce in Philidelphia today his campaign to seek the Republican nomination for President of the United States.



January 14th- Scott Brown announced today that he will not seek the republican nomination.


January 17th- Mitch Daniels of Indiana announced his plans to seek the Republican Nomination today.


January 20th- During the State of the Union Address, President Clinton announced that her administration is strong and will pass as much as it can to help the American people. She also formally announced her campaign for re-election.

January 30th, 2011- Following the four year withdrawel plan from Iraq that President Clinton set two years ago, one third of American troops arrived home today. All troops are expected to be out by the end of 2012.


February 1st- Unemployment at 9.8%

February 3rd- With unemployment diving below ten percent for the first time since August of 2009, President Clinton made a speech in Des Moines, Iowa saying that the recession is over and Unemployment will be below five percent before you know it.


February 6th- Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty formally announced his candidacy for President today in Minneapolis.


February 11th- Ohio representitve Dennis Kucinich announced intentions to run against President Clinton in the primaries today.


February 18th- 2008 Vice Presidential candidate Lamar Alexander announced today that he will not run for president. He also endorsed Rick Santorum for the Republican nomination.


February 28th- Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was arrested today under charges of fraud. Souces say that he payed off several top democrats in Illinois not to run aginst him in the primaries there last year. His sentence is pending.


March 1st- Unemployment at 9.7%

March 4th- Following years of media expecting him to run for president, Newt Gingrich announced his candidacy today in Atlanta. At the moment his is the front runner due to name recognition.


March 11th- Former New York Governor George Pataki announced his candidacy for President today in New York.


March 14th- President Clinton announced that troop withdrawel from Afghanistan will begin in early 2012. She is set to maek her first campaign stop in April.


March 21st- Haley Barbour announced his intent to seek the Republican nomination today in Mississippii.


March 26th- Texas Governor Rick Perry announced his candidacy for President today in Houstan, Texas.

April 1st, 2011- Unemployment at 9.7%

April 6th- Having announced he does not intend to run for president five months ago, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee has endorsed republican candidate Haley Barbour for President today.


April 7th- For the first time in a year in a half, a terrorist attack was attempted in the United States. A afghan suicide bomber attacked in Denver today, luckily no one was harmed. The attacker has not yet been identified.


April 9th- Following the terrorist attack in Denver, President Clinton announced plans to upgrade security, so that it will be harder for a terrorist to get into the country.


April 12th- Today, the first republican primary debate was held in Indiannapolis. The main headlines of the night were when Rick Santorum attacked Perry on when he had threatened to have Texas secede from the union during his run for governor. Mitch Daniels, Tim Pawlenty, and Haley Barbour also performed well tonight.


April 19th- Gary Johnson, the first person to announce his candidacy for president announced a northeastern tour that includes New Hampshire as the first stop. Johnson has been spending alot of time in the state, hoping that will be his launchpad to victory.


April 25th- Mitch Daniels landed a few points with republican voters today, witha key speech in Iowa attacking President Clintoin and other candidates for president. He said that the president has prolonged the recession and that she is a danger to this country.


May 1st- Unemployment at 9.8%

May 5th- Tim Pawlenty launched the first ad for the campaign season today, calling himself a "New Kind of Republican". The message had many similarities to Bill Clintons campsign in 1992.


May 11th- Following her other democratic legislations recently passed, President Clinton announced a plan to help the educational system today. The bill is expected to pass easily, with low cost and some republican support.


May 18th- Low key presidential candidate Mike Pence announced plans for a 50 state tour today.


May 24th- President Clintons education plan passed the house today 301-134. The victory was larger than expected by many pundits views.


May 27th- Rick Santorum launched an ad today, attacking Newt Gingrich, the former speaker of house, for having passed his time, and that the Republican party needs a new face in politics.


June 1st- Unemployment at 9.6%

June 9th- Pawlenty dominated the second primary debate, with his new stump speech as being the new kind of republican. Rick Perry and Mike Pence did not attend the second debate.


June 15th- President Clintons new education plan passed the house today 61-39. The vote again, was not a big suprise.


June 20th- Former Secretary of Health and Human Services Mitt Romney endorsed republican candidate Tim Pawlenty for President today, he was not expected to make an endorsement until the primaries were over.
