Dems: MA, NY, RI, PA, OH, MD, DE, WI, MN, NC, FL, HI, DC
Reps: ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, WY, UT, ID, AZ, MT, AK

All the rest have changed and many drastically- CA, WA, OR to dems...the whole rural south to the GOP. Even NC, FL, PA had Obama winning many parts of the state that Ford did better in in 1976 (Eastern PA, South FL, Wake County NC etc).

The GOP still had a firm grasp on suburban voters in 1976. Ford won in places like San Mateo county and the Bay Area burbs too that are solid Democrat now.

To be fair, San Francisco's suburbs have never voted quite the same as other suburbs.

You forgot to mention among the states that changed drastically since 1976, Illinois, Iowa and Vermont for Democrats.
