Yeah, I don't know why politicaladdict finds this so hard to understand.

Also he's incredibly uninformed if he thinks a public option is the same as medicaid or medicare.

I'm uninformed? Why do we need a public health option for the poor and elderly if we already have medicare and medicaid?

YOU DOPE!

I wasn't buying into your argument until you threw in the "you dope".  Now, I see.  Public Option is epic fail.  And Lief is a dope.

Thanks for setting me straight.

Wow, I'm glad a liberal could even learn anything!

Medicaid covers only a very small portion of poor people.  Indigent single adults without children die in the street.

Why a so-called Public health option when the poor have Medicaid and the elderly have Medicare? Plus they're going bankrupt, why not reform them instead?

aren't they going bankrupt [rates increasing faster than inflation] at a less quick rate than the healthcare system as a whole?

Here's just one example of an AMERICAN woman named Barbara Wagner who was denied a drug and was offered assisted suicide instead under Oregon's version of a PUBLIC health car system.

And there's more and more people who die in Britain and Canada and there's a bunch of names of peoples stories, aswell.

Yeah. About only 15% of the population of uninsured, right?

Oh, and plus there's "Emergency Rooms".

No!

Why would they go bankrupt?

Pretty amazing that 85% like the health care system and are just fine.

Michael Moore, some of the liberals favorite man, said, "It's Absolutely a Good Thing’ for Government to Drive Private Health Insurance Out of Business."

Here's a question. If we need the public-option so bad, then why would they wait to implement it it till about 2013? Mmmm!

Emergency care is extremely expensive and it would be much cheaper to help these individuals prevent diseases by giving them access to doctors and testing. By keeping them healthy longer, we also increase the productivity and wealth of the nation.

Because "they" are bad people.

I'm not sure if this new tendency to appeal to the apparent inherent evil of Xahar in all things even remotely related to forum policing or this damn game is especially helpful.

Why not a public system with a "private option"?

Why not medicaid which is basically a public-option for the poor. And I don't see how taking over more makes sense, except the government getting more power.
