YOU HAVE TO ROTATE THE TWO TOGETHER TO AVOID SOIL NUTRIENT DEPLETION BECAUSE SOY IS A LEGUME AND HAS A SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH BACTERIA THAT FIX NITROGEN INTO THE SOIL, A NUTRIENT THAT CORN LOVES>

corn obviously.  I have been known to yell in discontent if I see a business using new *eco-friendly* corn cups.  America's state-corporate crop.  I try to minimize my intake, though I did have a Pepsi at work today, the first HFCS sugar soda I have had in several months.

Actually, growing the two in the same field at the same time works much better. For the soil, that is. Obviously doing so requires manual harvesting.

The Native Americans used to plant squash, beans, and corn together in forest clearings.  For whatever reason, when those 3 were planted together, they all grew better.

It still seems to be the case though people can't readily explain it.

Soy is virtually just as subsidized and lobbied for in Washington.

Corn just gets much more publicity because its a nutritional carbohydrate.  And that doesn't fly in the South Beach generation.

Livestock tends to be pretty unhealthy because they're fed corn & soy instead of grass.

You'll get no arguments from me on that.
