Mine of course are mostly musical. A few film quotes (those tend to not be obscure though)
Lewis' are mostly literature I think.
Al's consist of literature and some old movies to my knowledge.
Same with Gully.

I might start using the display name to reference very underground music. Eh, probably not.

About three or four, though I can't remember exactly which.

Eraserhead. KillerPollo has apparently become pretty obscure.

To prove my nerdiness most of my usernames have come from Science Fiction Novels (or at least SF themes; my previous one before this one was o/c the name of a Kraftwerk album) - including the present one. Though if you type it (or my ID name) into wiki you will find the origin.

Wow, I should apologize to The Mikado. His names are so obscure I don't even know what type of media they come from. I should've included Straha too, I believe his names mostly came from obscurish webcomics and lesser known 4chan memes.

The Mikado's display names all reference plays, mostly Gilbert & Sullivan ones. I think he has said as much on multiple occasions, actually.

Probably Gully Foyle. BRTD already told us what it means, Al is nothing but a traditional nickname, and Lewis Trondheim is IMO just a funny germanic-sounding name.
WTF does Gully Foyle mean.

Ah, yes. Smiley

Now, can anyone guess mine? I've actually mentioned it somewhere here already, so maybe not too hard.

I think the OP meant display name when he wrote username. Smiley
