California, only because of a few like PiT, Lunar, Torie, Ronnie, Cutie 15 and SPC. I am neutral on Sbane. The rest are pretty low grade.
Is Cutie 15 ahead of me because of this? Or is it because I am an elitist and Cutie 15 merely thought about becoming one but never acted on it? Tongue

I see someone else found that thread hilarious.

Dude that was the most hilarious night on the forum..ever. Were you lurking back then?

Maybe.
He was someone else back then.

Wrong.
So you were someone else before then, but not exactly then?

I've only been me.

This isn't a competition guys. Alcon, bgwah, Ebowed, Ogre, CultureKing, realisticidealist, that crazy guy who posts things about the flu shots and of course yours truly. I mean c'mon, it's pretty clear.

Easily the worst delegation

And look who hates us! That alone should tell you all you need to know.

Ontario would be up there if it were a state. Pennsylvania is strong, but it has all sorts of multi-page bitchfests. Washington has Alcoun. Thus, I go with California.

True, it's not a state, so it shouldn't count.  New South Wales is a state though, so my vote counts.

You have one poster. NSW isn't even the best state in Australia! That's Victoria! (Conor and Hugh)

NY & Wash.  A few other states have strong delegations as well, but they generally have a bad poster or two which knocks them down a bit.  Can't think of any bad posters in either NY & Washington.

I think Washington has the best members by far. Also Oaxaca.

We still have a solid group here.  I do miss KP.  With higher political aspirations, this Forum is not so good an idea.  I could probably be destroyed easily with what I've posted and so could many.

Since this has just turned into a "my state is the best" plug thread, then I'll say Minnesota.  Because we never voted for Ronald Reagan, which gives us a unique perspective.  That is all Smiley

Well....

You voted for Norm Coleman and Tim Pawlenty.  People in one of your CD's voted for Michele Bachmann.  2 of your Dems are social conservatives. (Playing Devil's Advocate here)

Still a very good state all said...  You have Amy Klobuchar, Paul Wellstone, HHH, and many great people.

PA on the other hand has many Democrats (not on here) who pretty much should switch parties.

Neither but being an elitist certainly doesn't help you in my list. Tongue

Well, my favorite group of posters are easily from Minnesota...

Snow, Fritz, BRTD, IlikeEverin are all among my favs.  And I know I am forgetting one other.  But I am hard-pressed to name one Minnesota poster whose contributions I don't enjoy.

I almost said NY -- cause Paul and Smash are two of my favorites.  But Sam Spade is definitely not.  Don't get me wrong -- he sometimes contributes some really good or really fun posts.  But once in awhile he can be really awful.  So lemme place NY second in my personal rankings.

GM, Flyers and Bullmoose make Penna look real good.  But as to Phil and Chris -- will I like them both VERY much on a personal level -- we are just miles apart politically.

Ohio?  Hell -- Badger, Padfoot and Marokai (?) rock.  But Coburn and CJK can jump in the lake.  Naso's my buddy but again -- see the note above about Phil and Soulty.

Cali?  Nah -- Torie's awesome but that's about it, unless I am forgetting someone.

I thank Yankee for mentioning Indiana.  Tmth really has come a long way.  And we USED to have to other really great posters in Beef and Pragmatic Liberal.  Both seem to be gone now.  I think that's the entire Hoosier delegation.

Which brings up a sore spot with me about the Atlas.  I wish Dave, or one of his minions or flunkies, would make a tool that allows you to click on a state (from a map or a list) and see all the registered posters from that state.  I can't imagine it would be that hard to create.

And comfortably unseated him with the inspiring Mark Dayton. Smiley
