I can never understand how a person can feel sympathy for bad people, be it ex-boyfriends who treat you like crap but you still hang out with, or convicted killers on death row whom you wish could be commuted and get rehabilitated.

Does it make me coldhearted that, in complete and utter honesty, I don't care about bad people period, and I could care less what happens to them?

Are you sure there's no hope for you and Phil?  Is he really a "bad person" to you now?

LOL!  I'm sorry Mike.  You know I'm just kidding.  Actually, I miss you and Phil giving each other a hard time.  That was always fun!

It depends. I sometimes feel sympathy for "bad" people, but not always. If I think that the person is genuinely bad or evil, then I probably will not feel sympathy for him. But I understand where you are coming from.
