Corzine has momentum, but it's anyone's game.

Whoever is right, wins a Mrs. Fields cookie. Smiley (actually I ate them all, sorry Sad )

Corzine, but I don't wanna post percentages just yet.

It´s not clear yet how much Daggett will get on election day. Of course he'll get more than 5%, because that is now the percentage that name him voluntarily, if he isn't even added as a poll choice. So his potential currently is 5-20%. At least he's not harming Corzine if he achieves a lower than anticipated share.

Corzine. I'll make my final prediction in a week or so.

Also, you should have included a Daggett option for the hell of it.

Christie (narrowly).

Christie is a pathetic candidate whose winning virtue is he is NOT Corzine!

Suspect the decisive voters will got to the polling booth and see the names on the ballot and decide, NOOOO, not another four years of Corzine, and will reluctantly vote for Christie.

Same for you Eraserhead.

Here's your process of thinking: 'NJ voters will say 'Oh well, better to go with the devil we know....''

That sounds like your version of hope springing eternally.  This race at this time is a pure tossup.  You know it.  I know it.  THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT.

On Friday we might know more but right now who knows who is going to win this.

Corzine. That is just the way the cookie crumbles in New Jersey. And Christie knows a lot about how cookies crumble.

Hardly.

Christie is a pathetic excuse for a candidate.

Essentially, the voters of New Jersey are confronted with a bad choice.

I sort of feel sorry for them.

Too possible scenarios:

1.) Voters think Daggett has a chance and stick with him:

Corzine 39%
Christie 38%
Daggett 19%
Others 4%

2.) Voters really Daggett has no chance (more likely)

Christie 48%
Corzine 44%
Daggett 5%
Others 3%

My thoughts: Many Daggett supporters realize that he won't win, and focus on getting Corzine out of office. Christie gets a narrow win because of this.

Christie: 46%
Corzine: 44%
Daggett: 8%
Other: 2%

Corzine, but narrowly.  Lots of people will still be pissed at Corzine despite vote for him and will not vote for Christie due to Bush ties.

Johnny better pull this out for my entertainment purposes, but it's way too early to make a prediction with any confidence. I'll have my prediction out to the hundreths come the day before the election, of course.

I'm just gonna pull some numbers out of my ass here, but last time I did that I ended up being only 0.05% off so who knows! (it was Murphy/Tedisco)

John Corzine: 47.2%
Chris Christie: 42.3%
Chris Daggett: 8.7%
others: 1.8%

I don't see how people can say Corzine reaches 45%, that is just impossible.  There are, as I said and I think anyone following the race will agree, two scenarios.  Either Daggett polls well over 10% in which case Corzine wins something like 42-40-15, or he goes well under and Christie wins something 47-43-7.  Corzine cannot get more than 45%, its just impossible

I think Christie is a small favorite.
