Clay Cooper is the Governor of the great state of North Carolina. Winning his first term back in 2004 and was reelected in 2008. Cooper is the first Republican to win the Governor's Mansion in many years. Since becoming Governor he help lower the taxes in the state of North Carolina, and help bring millions of job to the state of North Carolina, because of his low business tax he was able to pass in the State Congress. Cooper is a moderate on socail issues, pushing for equal pay for all, civil unions for Same-Sex Couples, and help pass the Pro-Life bill in the North Carolina Congress. The Pro-Life bill help reduce abortions by 20% by giving women more options other then aborting the child. Also, the Pro-Life bill banned the Death Penalty.
